South Carolina
We have been living is South Carolina for about 3 weeks now and absolutely love this green, green state. Oakley was such a big girl on the way here she didn't really cry and every time we made a stop we put her on the potty and she would go. We stopped in Nauvoo as you can see two post earlier. When we arrived in SC we where blown away with all the green forest and wild flowers.
The move has turned our little baby girl into a big girl it seems. She is now in a twin bed, goodbye crib. I was completely terrified of this change but she is amazing. It only took me shutting her door 3 times for about a minute a piece for her to stay in her bed and not get out. She is out of diapers, cold turkey and doing well at that too. That is as long as I'm constantly on her and putting her on the potty every hour. She is so funny she will only tell me she has to go potty if she wants a treat, in underwear not pull ups, we are at a store or she's teasing me. The next thing to change will be the stinking bottle,I hate that thing! She only gets it when she goes to bed or down for a nap but I feel that slows down potty training at night. So I'm trying to replace the bottle with reading books but for now she still wants both. Her all time favorite book is Froggy Green and she has parts of it memorized so she loves reading it to me. This move has been a great time to help our little girl grow up even though I wish I could keep her my tinny baby forever! I love watching her learn and be able to do new things. She is such a joy in my life and makes me laugh every day. I love being a mom more than anything else in this world.

20 weeks already :)
I can't believe I'm 5 months prego already. Time has completely run away from me. I've been so blessed of feeling wonderful when I'm pregnant the only things really different with this pregnancy is I want sugar after every healthy meal, and I don't feel the baby move as much as I remember with Oakley. Other than that I feel super good, lucky for me my clothes still fit. So far I'm caring the baby the same way as well, LOW! I have my ultra sound on the 11th of May so put in your vote. BOY or GIRL? too bad we are not finding out. You can find out when we do in September. Only 4 more months. hahaha!

We had a great easter this year. Holidays are so much fun when your kids are old enough to really get into the magic of believing. Oakley loved finding the easter eggs and Caz had a blast coloring eggs. He wanted to do it again after Oakley went to sleep. I said no way do to the fact our apartment has white carpet and white fabric chairs. Darn mom...

Carthage was awesome! The spirit of that small jail where Joseph Smith was killed confirmed my testimony of Joseph being a true prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What a blessing it is to have been able to feel and experience that. I'm so grateful for my own spirit and faith I have in the gospel. For a husband that seeks out spiritual and joyful experiences. I'm so glad we stopped in Nauvoo and Carthage on r way to South Carolina.

Happy Birthday Oakley
Oakley got to spend her 2nd Birthday in Nauvoo with mom and dad on our journey to what we will call home. At breakfast Oakley got a red cake cupcake which she ate the frosting, thats about it. Then we let her pick out a new toy and of course she picked out a puppy dog. We went on a horse ride around Nauvoo in the rain. Then went on a tour around Joseph Smith's homes which I was so disappointed with. After a long day of in and out of the car we got Oakley a tub of ice cream and let her go at it. she thought that was so cool. When she talked to grandparents about her birthday the most exciting thing she said happend was that the horses pooped..... HAHAHA.... she must be two. Caz and I didn't even see it happen but Oakley was sure it did.
I don't know why my daughter is such a sassy HAM it's not like I tilt my head and smile or anything..... :)

Temple

Christmas.......
Christmas was so much fun this year with Oakley trying her hardest to open her presents. We were super spoiled. Oakley is the best little mamma with her baby. So cute! I love my little family so much. They make me happy every single day.
Christmas Tree Hunt
We continued our tradition of going and cutting down a Christmas tree again this year. Yes, the snow was up to almost our thighs. I carried Oakley on my back and Caz carried the chain saw. I was sweating by the time I got up the mountain just in time to look at a tree Caz was standing next to say, looks good and head back to the truck with a crying baby. I always wonder why we take that little girl every where with us? Oh yeah, We LOVE her to death.
